Pecan-Crusted Pork Chops

Pecan-crusted pork chops are an easy way to bring big flavor to your dinner table. Coated in crunchy pecans and savory seasonings, these juicy pork chops are baked to perfection and make a delicious meal paired with your favorite vegetables or a simple salad.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and Dijon mustard.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine chopped pecans, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture, then press into the pecan mixture to coat both sides.
  5. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 2 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  7. Let rest for 3 minutes before serving.
